T-Mobile Unlimited Talk Text and Data Cell Phone Plans

FREE phones from T-Mobile

I made a short post earlier about some T-Mobile Free Activation deals that are going on online. The post didn't say much about the available plans, and mostly focused on that specific deal. Like most carriers, T-Mobile offers a variety of "free cell phones" and basic individual plans.

Another feature of T-Mobile that is attractive and makes them intriguing for a site about the cheapest cell phone plans, is that they offer some of the best deals on unlimited wireless service.

Unlimited Wireless Plans are relatively new but have been around for a few years. A lot of the carriers have had some hiccups rolling out the plans and dealing with heavy usage of text and data features, but it seems like they have figured them out.

T-Mobile is offering an unlimited talk, text, and data plans starting at $79.99 for an individual plan. If you are looking for less included, you can get a cheap plan for only $39.99. That includes 500 anytime minutes plus unlimited Nights/Weekends and in network calling.

To see what T-Mobile has to offer, click on the banner at the top of this post. That will take you to T-Mobile's official site.

T-Mobile Phone Free Activation Deals

I just saw on Twitter that online cell phone vendor Wirefly is running a free activation discount currently for new T-Mobile cell phone customers. Apparently, through this Friday they will waive the activation fee for T-Mobile phones ordered online. This promotion is for new T-Mobile customers and existing customers looking to add a line to their current calling plan.

If you want to shop for T-mobile phones and other wireless deals from Wirefly, I recommend clicking on the banner below. If you are an existing T-Mobile customer looking for the best deal on an upgrade, I recommend: T-Mobile Upgrades.

I am not sure what the best or cheapest T-Mobile phone plan is at this time, but they tend to be pretty competitive with the other carriers as far as value.

Cell Phone Banking Options Become more Popular

There is a story on Newsday.com via the Los Angeles Times that talks about how popular banking by cell phone is becoming. Apparently 8 out of 10 major banks offer mobile banking via cell phone.

The article mentions accessing your account by "typing away" on your cell phone so I assume they mean this a text messaging related or mobile web service. It isn't really clear.

Personally I use a small local bank and have been accessing my account via phone for 5-6 years. I call the phone number, enter my account and PIN. Then I can check balances, make transfers or loan payments, and other banking. Of course this all can be done on any phone- landline home phone, cell phone, whatever has dial tone.

Accordingly, Wells Fargo is mentioned as allow banking via smartphone web browser or text.

This is yet another service you can use with your cell phone plan.

Verizon Service with a 5 Buck Pink moto Razr

Verizon Wireless is one of the largest and most reliable cell phone providers. If you are looking for a cheap cell phone plan with a good phone we recommend the $39.99 a month Nationwide 450 plan with a new Motorola Razr ( or comparable quality phone). You get 450 minutes, no roaming, unlimited in-network calling and nights and weekends.

When you sign a new agreement, you can choose from many cool phones for free or close to free. They also have pretty good deals for existing customers ( like their New Every 2 Deal ). For example, you could get a razr ( in multiple colors- pink, silver ) for only 5 bucks when you signup for verizon service. They have many other phones options as well including Krzrs, smartphones, and more.
